Events and Activities

There is plenty for residents and visitors to do in the Rochford District.

There are a number of established festivals including the Rayleigh Arts Festival, the Rochford Beer Festival, Rochford District Sports Festival and events in libraries as part of the Essex Book Festival.

Annual events include the popular Wild Woods Day and Rochford Art Trail.

For children and families a programme of school holiday activities is arranged by Rochford District Council, Rochford Extended Services and Virgin Active.
