Homelessness

 

The Council offers free, confidential and impartial advice to anyone in the District threatened with homelessness. Homelessness and Housing Advice Officers can help you remain in your home or find alternative accommodation if you become homeless.

 

Homelessness and Housing Advice Officers can help with problems including:

 

  • Domestic violence
  • Homelessness
  • Mortgage/rent arrears & debt
  • Landlord/tenant disputes
  • Loss of employment
  • Housing rights following relationship breakdown
  • Notice to Quit
  • Possession proceedings
  • Rough sleeping
